Thank you to Lois Wilson Thank you very much to Lois Wilson for her delivery of the Howcroft annual lecture this past Wednesday, February 3. In a talk titled "Jesus and the Senate", the former Senator and ecumenical leader in Canada shared her experiences of how faith can and should inform our struggles for justice. Guests enjoyed hearing her stories and advice even more than the delicious Mexican pozole soup that was served alongside!The Howcroft lecture is an annual event held at The Centre which hears from leaders committed to social justice in Canada. The series started in 2004 to honour Lorne Howcroft, a founder and long time board member of Romero House.
